I was out at Mr. Parker's home last week in Racine and like most newborns he was not buying what I was selling! Sleep?...lay on my belly?...lady you're nuts! Regardless of all that, like always, I did manage to capture some of his more quiet, content moments. The last picture for some reason I just love so much, most parents don't like the pacifier in the picture but while he was laying there trying to settle down I snapped a few photos anyway. You can almost see the instant comfort and relief his pacifier brought after the rough evening he had. Babies are just so precious. I must be getting the itch again...:)

Matt + Ashley = Urbana, OH Wedding
This past weekend my husband Chris and I took a road trip out to Urbana, OH (near Columbus) for his very good friend Matt's wedding in which he was a groomsman and I was the fortunate Photographer. Matt and his gorgeous wife Ashley got married in the coolest place, it was a conference/wedding center that a had a lodge type feel with a modern twist! It was beautiful! I first met the guys out at Matt's mom's house on a lake for their photos, then headed to the conference center to meet up with the girls, and there we stayed till the last song played! I only wish you all could have seen the hilarious dance the guys did to "Gangnam Style" it was priceless! Congrats Matt and Ashley you truly are such a beautiful, fun couple and your wedding was a true representation of you, beautiful and super fun! I only wish we lived closer!

I had to throw one of my husband Chris in here (right) with his two best buds "Beer" and "Bub" who oddly enough, all share the same odd sense of humor. They're the perfect trio! |

Jason + Valerie = Menomonee Falls/Hartford Wedding
Jason and Valerie were married Sept. 22nd at Calvary Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls. Calvary has a lot of meaning to me because it's the church my mom grew up in, the church we'd go to with my grandma when we were visiting from Stevens Point, and the church my parents got married in. So it was nice to go back with fond memories! After the ceremony we headed to a cute little park in Germantown which is actually the park these two love birds got engaged in! Let me tell you, these two needed no instructions when it came to posing! I just plopped them in place and, well, you can't fake the love you saw they had for each other! The camera ate it up! After that we headed to Hartford Town Hall for the reception and then the rice (and a few other surprises) send off!

Jeff + Heather = Milwaukee/Muskego Wedding
September 21st was Jeff and Heather's "big day"! We started with some rain but, they do say rain on your wedding day is good luck! Their ceremony was in Milwaukee at St. Gregory the Great, where afterwards Heather was greeted by some anxious students that attend the school waiting to see the pretty bride! After the ceremony we hopped on the trolley and headed to Muskego Lakes Country Club for the reception! Such a great fun loving couple!

Brandon~ Pewaukee Class of 2013
Here's a preview of Brandon's senior session out at Menomonee Park in Menomonee Falls last week. It was a great spot for this outdoorsman! Great lake, wooded areas and tall grasses not to mention the awesome rock wall!

Jacob ~ Pewaukee Class of 2013
Here's a preview of Jacob's session at Lake Nagawicka in Delafield last night. While I was in the parking lot waiting it started to rain and I got real nervous. There was literally a rain cloud directly over our spot and I could see blue skies on all sides so I knew it wouldn't last long. Luckily by the time they showed up the rain had stopped and the sun came out! It turned out to be a great (but little cold) shoot!

Jenna ~ Sussex Hamilton Class of 2013
Last evening I met Jenna and her mom Tracy in the Third Ward for Jenna's senior portrait session! Tracy, incidentally, was my boss at the last job I worked at before starting my photography business so it was so nice to see her again! I had a great time, Jenna was such a natural she made my job easy!
