I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!  Now back to work and school...I'm finally sharing a few images from Erin's shoot a few weeks back.  It was a windy day so that was a bit of concern but it turned out just fine, and you'll never know by looking at her pictures!  Here are just a few of my instant faves from the evening!

Lauren ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Retzer Nature Center is so beautiful this time of year.  I've never been there this late in the summer, but, they have so many amazing wild flowers that made great backdrops for Lauren's session.  Here are a few shots from last week!

Ryan ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

I'm behind in my blogging.  Last week was consumed by a family camping trip near LaCrosse and a wedding in Ohio.  Now I'm back and ready to share a few images from Ryan's session out at Old Falls Village in Menomonee Falls.  I took his brother Robert's senior portraits here a few years back and I always like the challenge of doing things just a little different with siblings especially when they are at the same location.  

Emily ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Emily's first session was rained out so we tried again last week and it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful evening!  We went to Grant Park right along Lake Michigan where we did her brother Evan's session a few years back.  There was a pier that she loved from his photos and wanted to incorporate it in hers.  It took us awhile to locate it though because it was completely under water!  When the waves hit just right you could see it peeking out.  

Patrick ~ Pewaukee High School Class of 2018

Happy Friday everyone!  Earlier this week I met Patrick at Naga-Waukee Park for his senior session. I've been doing this new thing this year where I highlight a client for 24 hours on my Facebook and Instagram (jessicalaurenpics) accounts with pictures, behind the scenes and some little videos.  It's been fun and so far everyone's been great sports!  Patrick was so fun to work with, he even picked out the location for that last shot.  It was run down little building and it turned out to be one of my favorites from the night!  Good eye!  

Jessica ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Last week I met up with Jess at Frame Park in Waukesha for her senior session.  It was supposed to be overcast all day but that sun was a blazing all evening.  If finally started to cool down at the very end of the session of course!  Jess is a complete natural in front of the camera!  And can we take a second to talk about that hair?!  Gorgeous!  Best of luck Jess on your upcoming pageant!  I know you'll do great!

June Photo Journal

I'm a little late on this post...summer has been busy with weddings and vacations and I haven't even started "busy season" at work yet.  But, here we are none the less.  

I just love watching my little guys draw and create and I love seeing what comes out of that brain of theres.  I love the imagination of kids and sometimes I just love watching them draw.  Their playroom was actually clean enough on this particular day for me to snap a few pics of my youngest Grant thinking on pondering away at his pad of paper....
