Conner ~ Pewaukee High School Senior Class of 2015

Last week was Conner's senior session in downtown Waukesha.  Right along the river there are so many great little spots.  Every time I go I find something new, and go back to a few tried and true spots as well.  I know I posted a lot of serious face shots but Conner's smile was so great and natural (not always the easiest to get out of a guy) :)  He was great to work with and willing to do anything I asked!  I have a lot of younger siblings this year of Seniors I've photographed in the past which is always so fun!  Here's the blog post from a few years back of his beautiful sister Lindsey!

Chad + Patti = Wedding

Last Friday I shot my last wedding!  It just so happened to be at the same venue I shot my first wedding, so it was a perfect way to end that chapter of my career.  I met with Patti and Chad and the wedding party before the ceremony at Lake Nagawicka park and Yacht Club.  We then headed over to the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha for their evening outdoor ceremony followed by the reception inside the hotel. 

 I loved idea of the generational ring shot of bride, Mom, and Grandma.  I wish I would have thought to do that at my wedding! And what little girl wouldn't feel like a princess in that dress dancing with her Daddy!  So precious! 

"B" Family ~ Family and Children Portraits

Starting off my work day today with my friend Liz and her family, Randy, Nathan, Jillian and their latest addition baby Benson.  I was in Stevens Point this weekend to photograph them and drop my kids off at Grandma and Grandpa's for the week! We attempted to keep our original day and time but a few shots in at Iverson Park we ended up getting rained out, so we met back there in the morning the following day and were able to finish the session off strong!  Here are a few shots!

Drew + Kayla = Wedding

Last weekend was Drew and Kayla's "Big Day"!  The weather was overcast and we only got caught in a few light sprinkles, we were very fortunate!  The ceremony was at Ridgewood Baptist church in Brookfield which was a lovely and Christ centered ceremony much like the entire wedding.  We then headed over to Old Falls Village in Menomonee Falls for photos with the bride and groom and wedding party.  Then off to Calvary Baptist Church also in the Falls for the reception.  It was so nice seeing a couple not only so in love with each other but also with the Lord.

"D" Family ~ Stevens Point

This past weekend I went "home" to Stevens Point for Father's Day as well as to photograph this great family out at Jordan Park!  The mosquitos were out of control but other than that it was a beautiful evening!  The portrait session was a gift for Mom and Dad from the kids!   Their daughter Allison and I were friends growing up and it was great reconnecting!  

George & Linda ~ 50 Year Anniversary

This past Friday I met George and Linda and their daughter Erika out at Lime Kiln Park for a portrait session celebrating their 50th anniversary!  Apparently they hadn't had portraits taken since their 25th so I was thrilled to be able to do this for them!  They were such a delight to work with and such good sports!  The love was so apparent between these two it really was such a treat for me to photograph them!

Kayla & Drew ~ Engagement Session

Last week I met Kayla and Drew out at Atwater Park in Shorewood for their engagement session.   None of us were prepared for how cold and windy it was going to be!  I pulled a muscle in my neck I'm still recovering from from tensing it so much to stay warm.  But, like Kayla said, you won't be able to tell in the pictures, and she's right!  Stay tuned for their wedding photos in a few weeks!
