As a Photographer keeping the integrity of your images is essential. Your image needs to look on paper the way it looks digitally. With the mainstream labs out there, that is not always the case. I found two different Photographers who have done the dirty work for me. Seeing is believing right?!
The first example is from Bailey Broderick Photography. The first image is from her Pro lab and the second is from Walgreens One hour service. Yikes! The second example is from Erin Noie Photography. She went to all the major labs to compare and as you can clearly see, the coloring is all off and very different from each other and the quality is just not there. This is what we Photographers fear the most. People spend all this money to have Professional photos taken of their family, children or weddings and don't know why they should to invest in professional prints. These low quality prints are the photos they have hanging on their walls! It's terrifying. So this is why it is so very important to invest the money in professional quality prints. Let your photos be the work of they really are, not a cheap imitation.
