Earlier this month Hannah had her senior session out at Atwater Beach along the lake.  It was a great spot with a lot to work with.  The colors on the trees were just starting to turn at that point which you can see in some of these shots...

You could really feel fall in the air last week at Frame Park for Madison's session.  You can see little glimpses of it with the fallen leaves and golden grasses...

Daniel ~ Pewaukee High School 2018

Finally getting Daniel on the blog today!  He had his mini session at Menomonee Park a few weeks back and he even brought his dog along for some photos!  

Danya ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Danya wanted to go to the Boerner Botanical Gardens for her senior session.  I was excited because I haven't shot there in years!  It's a gorgeous park and they were setting up for their big China Lights show so that was fun to watch.  Here are just a few shots from the evening.

Paula ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Paula's session was a first for me.  We started with a beautiful evening downtown Milwaukee in the Third Ward and about 2/3 of the way through her shoot the sky got dark grey and it just started to rain out of nowhere.  So, we finished up her shoot a few days later in downtown Waukesha.  I don't usually post two "looking away" poses but she looked so gorgeous in this first one I had to!

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!  Now back to work and school...I'm finally sharing a few images from Erin's shoot a few weeks back.  It was a windy day so that was a bit of concern but it turned out just fine, and you'll never know by looking at her pictures!  Here are just a few of my instant faves from the evening!

Retzer Nature Center is so beautiful this time of year.  I've never been there this late in the summer, but, they have so many amazing wild flowers that made great backdrops for Lauren's session.  Here are a few shots from last week!

Ryan ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

I'm behind in my blogging.  Last week was consumed by a family camping trip near LaCrosse and a wedding in Ohio.  Now I'm back and ready to share a few images from Ryan's session out at Old Falls Village in Menomonee Falls.  I took his brother Robert's senior portraits here a few years back and I always like the challenge of doing things just a little different with siblings especially when they are at the same location.  

Emily ~ Pewaukee Class of 2018

Emily's first session was rained out so we tried again last week and it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful evening!  We went to Grant Park right along Lake Michigan where we did her brother Evan's session a few years back.  There was a pier that she loved from his photos and wanted to incorporate it in hers.  It took us awhile to locate it though because it was completely under water!  When the waves hit just right you could see it peeking out.  

Patrick ~ Pewaukee High School Class of 2018

Happy Friday everyone!  Earlier this week I met Patrick at Naga-Waukee Park for his senior session. I've been doing this new thing this year where I highlight a client for 24 hours on my Facebook and Instagram (jessicalaurenpics) accounts with pictures, behind the scenes and some little videos.  It's been fun and so far everyone's been great sports!  Patrick was so fun to work with, he even picked out the location for that last shot.  It was run down little building and it turned out to be one of my favorites from the night!  Good eye!
