September 21st was Jeff and Heather's "big day"! We started with some rain but, they do say rain on your wedding day is good luck! Their ceremony was in Milwaukee at St. Gregory the Great, where afterwards Heather was greeted by some anxious students that attend the school waiting to see the pretty bride! After the ceremony we hopped on the trolley and headed to Muskego Lakes Country Club for the reception! Such a great fun loving couple!

Brandon~ Pewaukee Class of 2013
Here's a preview of Brandon's senior session out at Menomonee Park in Menomonee Falls last week. It was a great spot for this outdoorsman! Great lake, wooded areas and tall grasses not to mention the awesome rock wall!

Jacob ~ Pewaukee Class of 2013
Here's a preview of Jacob's session at Lake Nagawicka in Delafield last night. While I was in the parking lot waiting it started to rain and I got real nervous. There was literally a rain cloud directly over our spot and I could see blue skies on all sides so I knew it wouldn't last long. Luckily by the time they showed up the rain had stopped and the sun came out! It turned out to be a great (but little cold) shoot!

Jenna ~ Sussex Hamilton Class of 2013
Last evening I met Jenna and her mom Tracy in the Third Ward for Jenna's senior portrait session! Tracy, incidentally, was my boss at the last job I worked at before starting my photography business so it was so nice to see her again! I had a great time, Jenna was such a natural she made my job easy!

Nate + Stacy = Madison Engagement Session
This past Labor Day weekend my family and I were visiting my brother Eric who lives in Madison. Since I was going to be there I thought I would take the opportunity to photograph his good friend Nate and his fiancé Stacy's (who's wedding I'm shooting next summer) engagement pictures! Madison has some amazing locations, but we decided on the Allen Centennial Gardens on UW Madison's campus. It was a stunning place with so many great photo opps! To end the night we stopped at this great old warehouse with amazing character AND was right next to railroad tracks. Double bonus. There was so much to work with between the two locations I was going crazy! I think a broke a record and filled up my 16GB memory card (with RAW photos)! I have my work cut out for me narrowing it down but here are a few of my instant faves!
This first picture reminds me so much of that last scene in the movie Notting Hill, where Julia Roberts in pregnant laying on Hugh Grant's lap reading a book on the park bench, love it!
